Elden Ring: Cracked Pot Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

Elden Ring Cracked Pots are must-have items for any player who wants to use bombs and throwables.

These reusable containers are found in merchant shops or hidden in the Limveld region of the Nightreign expansion, and they allow players to craft fire, poison, and magic pots to hit enemies from a distance.

Where to Find Base Game Cracked Pots

There are 20 Cracked Pots in the base game. Finding these early is an important part of having enough "ammo" for tough fights:

• Church of Elleh (Limgrave): Merchant Kalé sells 3 pots for 300 Runes each. This is the best way to start your collection.
• Groveside Cave (Limgrave): Found on a corpse near the wolves at the start. It’s a top choice for a free early-game pot.
• Stormveil Castle: Find 2 pots in the room with the Living Jars near the Secluded Cell Site of Grace.
• Academy of Raya Lucaria: Located on a corpse near the stairs right outside the Debate Parlor.
• Jarburg (Liurnia): You can find 3 pots scattered around this peaceful village of jars.
• Auriza Side Tomb (Altus Plateau): This dungeon has 4 pots hidden behind its teleport traps—a must-visit spot for pot-throwers.

Shadow of the Erdtree: Hefty Cracked Pots

In the DLC, you need "Hefty" pots to craft massive bombs. These are needed for handling the expansion's giant enemies:

• Scorched Ruins: Found on a body on the high ground south of the ruins.
• Belurat Gaol: There are 3 pots here. Look for them in the "hanging pot" room and on the lids of the giant jars in the maze.
• Bonny Village: You can find 2 pots in the center of the village near the ravine. This is a top source for heavy crafting gear.
• Cerulean Coast: Dropped by the Giant Troll throwing pots at you near the Cerulean Coast Cross.
• Shadow Keep: Found on a large bed in the ward area near the West Rampart.

2026 Nightreign: Limveld & Spectral Pots

The 2026 Nightreign update introduces specialized pots for the Limveld area and the randomized Nightreign Castle.

• Blood Forge (Limveld): This is the best spot to find "Swarm Pots" and "Blood Pots." These are vital tools for any build that uses bleed damage.
• Shattered Towers (Forsaken Hollows): Use the Spectral Hawk Tree to fly to these high towers. They often have chests with Ritual Pots, which are required to make high-powered Nightglow bombs.
• Rotted Woods: During "Shifting Earth" events, this area becomes the top choice for finding rare Rot Pots, which are a huge help for draining a boss's health over time.
